Why do Salvage Items have Armor?
Purely idle curiosity, but someone had to sit down and enter all those numbers in a database somewhere. Why, if they aren't even used?

To have you question it...
Maybe the number signafies what kind of salvage material you get...? |

It also affects your chance of salvaging "rares" from the item. In the case of non-rune salvage, it would mean getting the rare salvage equivalent of the normal salvage (leather, silk, linen, steel, etc.) [ ] |

Talk about an obtuse means of communicating the info O_o Why not just have an item quality label or something.
The more I learn, the more the game makes sense, but they sure don't go out of their way to inform you, either in the manual, or in the in-game tooltips (nowhere does it describe the actual effects of armor). Ah well, good to know, thanks |

Who cares if it has armor or a rating...?
I like that they don't give us all the details, lets us have more to figure out. |
